i started this quilt when my boyfriend Alexis, our old kitty Sanjay, and i moved here to Seattle in June of 2012
all the fabrics i found here in Seattle
it was made with no plan in mind but to sew pieces together
and solve problems as they come up

Hooray for your Seattle Quilt!I love the way the batting has given texture to the quilt. One this size must have been really difficult to manage. I’m glad your machine has a big throat to cope with it.
I’m sure it will cheer you during the last greys month of winter.
Is that the same machine you brought from Chicago? The bit I can see looks newer somehow.
