Creativity Camp

Creativity Camp 2023

June 12 - September 1

Ages 4&Up

Registration Opens January 31

Awaken your imagination all summer long with unique camps in visual and performing arts. Led by professional artists in our multimedia studios, Creativity Camp at Hyde Park Art Center offers young artists unparalleled access to Chicago’s creative community in a fun, relaxed environment—perfect for summer!

Campers must be at least 4 years old and have prior experience in a full-day academic setting. No exceptions.

For additional questions about camp, contact Allison Cochrane, School & Studio Programs Manager, at acochrane@hydeparkart.org.

Creativity Camp 2023 will no longer require proof of vaccination from campers and teen assistants. Masks will be optional, out of consideration for the developmental opportunities for campers to build language and communication skills during their time at the Art Center. The Art Center studios are equipped with HEPA filtration systems. For more information on our health and safety policies and procedures, please reach out to Allison Cochrane at acochrane@hydeparkart.org.

Mixed Media Camps (Ages 4&Up)

Mixed Media Camps are two-week programs that offer young artists an opportunity to explore a variety of visual art media in the mornings and performing art techniques in the afternoon, complemented by field trips and outdoor play. Campers produce original works of art, discover the creative process, and cultivate new skills under the guidance of professional artists. Every session is unique.
