The Art Center is budgeting $3.4M in contributed revenue in 2023.
Director of Finance
Hyde Park Art Center seeks a full-time Director of Finance to support the financial health and growth of a complex ~$3.5M nonprofit organization. This position is responsible for backward-looking bookkeeping and accounting practices, forward-looking projections and forecasting, and long-term financial strategic planning. The Director of Finance plays a key role in communicating with diverse stakeholders including program and administrative staff, leadership, board members, and funders.
Become a TEEN Camp Assistant!
In-person Creativity Camps are back this summer 2023! We are hiring teens for camp sessions, June 12 – September 2, from 9am-noon and noon-3pm. Camp Assistants will assist Teaching Artists and campers with projects in a variety of media including painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, and performance arts!
**NOTE: Teen assistants must be fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior to their work start date.**

Ceramics Apprenticeship
Hyde Park Art Center is now accepting applications for the 2023 Ceramics Apprenticeship program. This year-long program provides a unique opportunity for ceramic artists to work in a community-based arts center and studio with an international reach. The Ceramics Apprentice will be trained by the Ceramics Department Head and the Ceramics Studio Technician in advanced studio skills, while developing their work in a supportive environment.
