I am interested in working with a collector in creating a personally meaningful small- to medium-sized carving. In my own work, I have carved objects like handkerchiefs, sports equipment, and things from memory that take on extra significance through the process of replication. I would love to work from off of someone else’s meaningful object (or photograph of an object.) I work in a variety of materials- off the bat, I would say cork, wood, or wax are attractive materials for the project, although others may be more appropriate, or even combinations of materials.
