Milena Hoegsberg has been Chief Curator at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter (HOK), Oslo, since August 2011. Curated exhibitions at HOK include Torbjørn Rødland: Sasquatch Century (2015); Josef Albers: Minimal Means, Maximum Effect; Human Space Machine: Stage Experiments at the Bauhaus and Bauhaus in Norwegian (2014); Lea Porsager: Sluggish and Well-lubricated (2013); Arbeidstid (2013); Ann Cathrin November Høibo: Alpelue and Omer Fast – fra virkeligheten (2012).

She has contributed texts such as “Talking and Thinking about Biennials: The Potential of Discursivity” to the The Biennial Reader (co-authored with Bruce Ferguson, Hatje Cantz), as well as reviews and essays to Frieze, Flash Art, Sculpture Magazine, Manifesta Journal, Art Forum China, and Yishu. She is the editor of: Sasquatch Century (Mousse Publishing); Josef Albers: No tricks no twinkling of the eyes (Walther König); Bauhaus in Norwegian (Orfeus); Living Labor (Sternberg Press); Shaped by Time (Revolver Publishing) and Omer Fast: 5000 Feet is the Best (Sternberg Press). She earned her MA at the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College and her BA in Art History at Columbia University, NYC, with a focus on 20th century art and contemporary time-based media.
